In general, the aquatic life of the Amazon basin is very dependent on the igapós because of the fruits, insects and small animals they contain. Therefore, in order to maintain the ecological balance, it is fundamental that the vegetation of the flooded areas is preserved.
As soon as the girl turned her face, the flash light tore through the darkness of the igapó in the Breves region of Pará. I had been waiting for this moment for a few minutes.
