Riverside children

Riverside children
Riverside children have everything to be happy. I saw this happiness in the most isolated communities, I also saw how, as the community gets involved with urban culture, it loses more and more the purity of its riverside culture and then desires. No law that obliges the riverine to remain riverine could work, the freedom of each one is sacred. But the enchantments of technology and progress use perverse propaganda to show that urban culture is the best of all, inevitable and necessary. Underprivileged children watch television and are enchanted by an illusory abundance. I am almost certain that if these children had the same opportunities as urban children, if they had agricultural schools that teach how to produce healthy foods, if they had training for seed collection, for tourist guides, if the university reached them, if they had an appreciation of the their craftsmanship, without the exploitation of intermediaries… whoever picks a bunch of açai deserves to be rewarded as much as an urban professional.
Is this how humanity would gain a new evolutionary stage, in the balance between the city and the countryside?

Before de order
In Lake Silves, on the island of Silves, at the water’s edge, the photographer’s framings find a typical diversity of the Amazonian world. Frequent excursions into this world are basic learning about the edge’s striking graphics, like any other environment. Elements whose final destination is the abstract world of visual communication. Graphic art assumes the role of authority that will identify that moment as a personalized but pertinent interpretation. This approach includes in the frame the virtual presence of the graphic artist, who stay on the side, suggesting. Remembering that archival photographs are produced to meet the needs of the edition, even before receiving the request.

Framing sync
Another vertical tribute to the graphic artist, because after all he is my partner, we work for the same purpose. And to understand this essential figure of cultural production, he had to embody it several times, designing the graphic project. This helped a lot with framing.
