Perfect symmetry

Perfect symmetry of Cattleya violacea
The perfect symmetry of the flower suggests a very complex geometry, which can even be carried on an architect’s drawing board. But this is a thing of the last century. Now all you have to do is dive into this geometric shape with just a meditative eye and a good mind. The petals dance, building hexagons, pentagons and triangles within the eternal circle that animates, transforms and suggests everything.

Oração trágica sobre a Cattleya violacea
A beautiful orchid and a praying mantis waiting… how could the praising being know that an innocent pollinator will visit the flower? And therefore he knows, the cruel prayer. The positioning in that exact spot, the tension of the hind legs, ready to pounce, the hidden threat of the front legs, everything is ready for the unsuspecting visitor. And orchid knows? Of course it knows, without pain or pity, where everyone seems to know everything, in that great cauldron of life that is nature, which comes, goes and never ends.

Cattleya violacea
To conclude and also to clear up this tragic pray that presented itself on the way.
A reflection remains running through my head: if feeding on another life is natural, in our world it is perfectly natural, and certainly there will be different worlds where this is not natural. I’m hunting in this tangle of worlds for a primordial factor. It would be a planetary grid built with a certain type of energy. It is the atmosphere of the astral, the code of possible behaviors. And it’s the same behaviors that write the code, which code in turn drives the behaviors. So when a new behavior appears in the network, it is not immediately assimilated until it reaches a legitimization that will make it normal. For example, the first praying mantis to decide and announce: «I’m a vegetarian! Now I really want to pray, and this Cattleya is the perfect temple of my prayer.»
This resonates in the net and other praying mantises are drawn to that energy. Magnetism works until that attraction generates a new field of behavior. Because nothing is immobile in particulars, and everything is immobile in totality.
