Natural Calendar
A riverine canoeThe canoe is a small boat, narrow and light, and daringly close to the waterline. With both sharp ends, it is operated by a wooden oar, but in the absence of an oar, the riverine can uses any piece of wood or even a branch. It is considered the most used means of transport by riverside and indigenous people in the rivers of the Amazon. More crosses between the flowering taxizeiros (Triplares surinamensis) of the Ariaú Paraná. Perhaps the feeling of the river dweller was not enchanted with that spectacle, just as I was. This spectacular phenomenon is part of his life, it is part of the calendar that marks natural events. For example: the first rain is falling, the water is filling up again, the piracemaThe piracema (spawning run) is the period during which several species of fish gather in large shoals and swim upstream to the headwaters to spawn. More will begin… the taxizeiros will bloom. This is the calendar of the peoples who are connected to nature. The moon is growing, it’s time for thunderstorms… this is a living calendar that governs the life of the cabocloThere is the caboclo of terra firme (highlands), more dedicated to hunting and agriculture, he knows and moves with agility in the dense forest of the highlands. There is the riverine that inhabits the riverbanks, more dedicated to fishing and short-term crops following the flow of the waters. Brown skin, the result of centuries of miscegenation between native Indians and many other peoples – mainly Brazilians from the Northeast, Portuguese, Bolivians, Peruvians, Colombians, Syrians, Lebanese and Jews – pioneers from the time before the rubber boom, or who took part in the boom. Over time, caboclos absorbed the ancient wisdom derived from many indigenous ethnicities. More. The measurement of time cannot do without the rhythms of nature.
And our Gregorian calendar? What a shame! Completely disconnected, mechanical and inaccurate calendar. A never-ending and ill-intentioned gambiarra“‘Gambiarra” or jury-rigging or make-shift solution is the Brazilian way of solving problems. It is created quickly, without following established rules or norms, and is a living proof that when the situation is difficult, Brazilians are able to make do with what they have at hand. It is common in the Amazon, where sometimes we only have a piece of electrical wire and an old knife to fix equipment, but that’s ingenuity! But be careful, because gambiarra can also be a very poorly done temporary solution, indicating neglect. More. I would like to demonstrate all of this here, I would like to demonstrate how what is considered one of the highest degrees of human evolution is nothing but a great pathetic lie, built to separate human beings from nature. There have been and there are more advanced civilizations than ours. Yes, because those who want to research the subject just need to study ancient calendars such as the Mayan, a calendar not only focused on the planet Earth, but also on the solar system and even the Milky Way. Exaggeration? Search, please, there is no shortage of qualified studies about this.
In the Mayan calendar, on the Day-Out-of-Time, corresponding to July 25th, and when the new year begins with the astronomical birth of Sirius, the brightest star, which rises on the horizon along with the Sun…

Flowered florest and visited
It is a spectacular event that deserves to be admired in the tourist calendar. I myself marked the event on my Amazonian calendar and for several years, when the possible was almost always possible, there I was admiring, photographing and climbing the enchanted trees. Just like me, those little beings who sail on the boat, observe the taxizeiros (Triplares surinamensis) and are nourished by the healing energy that comes from the Mother of all. Mother Earth… pachamamita…
