Moriche palm boat
On a lost beach between Barcelos and Moura, where there is a lower population densities on the planet, the riverside man builds his son’s skills. He uses as raw material the splint of the moriche palm (Mauritia flexuosa). It is a soft and consistent material, it can be cut easily with a knife, being very similar to styrofoam. I should have written down in my notebook the names and other details of the family that welcomed us. Now I miss this information and take comfort in the composition of the image and the naturalness of the figures.

Easy smile
Hanging on the wall of the house, the riverside boy is intimidated by these strange beings that come from another world, but he has an easy smile when the conversation enters the game.
