Jumping woolly monkey

Jumping woolly monkey (Lagotrix lagotricha)
The muscular monkey showed his value as in a weightlifting contest, jumping all the time to show his strength and also to show that he was in perfect condition to defend his tribe. I was on a boat, twenty meters from the edge, and the closer I got, the more courage he showed. If I’d gotten too close he probably would have attacked me.

Woolly monkey alfa male (Lagotrix lagatricha)
Despite not being from that region, there was a band of woolly monkeys near a jungle hotel on the right bank of the Negro river. The Ariau channel separated the monkey gang from the hotel, which was situated on the other bank. The hotel staff did everything they could to prevent the primates from crossing the river, as they knew those monkeys were very aggressive. Here in the photo is the alpha male of the gang. Strong, proud and imposing he looked across the river, looked at the humans who passed by, showing and showing their muscle mass.
Notice how he has five hands: two arms, two legs, and a prehensile tail. High security at heights. The strong musculature of the tail alone can hold the entire weight of the lofty primate.
