Ephemeral flower

In the cathedral of the ephemeral flower (Sobralia violacea)
The Sobralia violacea orchid blooms and, on the same day, it ends its flowering. Even so, everything is within the plans for the perpetuation of the species, which has certainly found the right strategy for its continuation.
I found this species for the first time where the Branco river and Negro river meet, on the middle Negro river: the waters were low and the igapó made it possible to walk among the trees of a forest that at other times of the year is flooded. There she was, three meters above the ground, in that mysterious forest, which allowed the view to reach a long distance, between the ground covered with a thick carpet of dry leaves that contrasted with the luminous green roof of the treetops. Over the years other encounters took place and this could not fail to be a joy, as its ephemeral and exceptional flowering of a single day coincided with my passage in its proximity. That is, until one day, suddenly, she opened the doors of her cathedral to me, ten years after our first meeting.
This photograph led me, on an elegant violet carpet, to the threshold of the holy temple, where my head bowed with a deep sense of reverence.

Decoded Sobralia violacea
All the necessary information was recorded in the tiny space of the seed, where it is determined that the flower only needs one day to fulfill its reproductive mission. In the same way, for human beings to understand the phenomena of nature, as well as the ephemeral Sobralia, it is necessary that the correct information be intuited as well as the instantaneous reading of a book, as well as an unequivocal decoded vision of DNA. As part of our human evolution, when this happens on a larger scale, then we will be able to understand the process just by looking at the eccentric Sobralia. For example, a shaman trained and connected to the biological matrix looks at a plant and perceives its essence, instantly.
Oh, how far removed is our supposed science from this!

Ephemeral clump of Sobralia violacea
I put a minute piece of roots from Sobralia v. in the fork of a tree. A year later there was a bush there. And a bush of Sobralia bloomed in the morning of July 12, 2016. In the late afternoon the flowers withered, but they certainly fulfilled their mission and, who knows, little by little new bushes will be born here and there.
